A northern New Jersey import, Eric began singing in cover and original bands in 1989. During this time, he also started playing guitar. Says Eric, "I met one of my best friends around this time, and he was this amazing guitar player! We would hang out at his place, and he would just spend hours going off, playing every song we could think of ...
"Before long, I would try and sing along, not really knowing what would come out of my mouth! Once I started, I never wanted to stop! With this, I finally found my voice. Up to this point, I was just writing poetry sporadically."
Later, he appeared with cover bands. Eric's most recent and longest stint, was with original band Tungsten Groove, a band he still jams with from time to time. After work relocated him to Montgomery County, PA in 2003, he was in search of a new outfit. A musician's classifieds website hooked him up with drummer, Tom Derosato; and ultimately to RAISING CAIN.
